End User Licence Agreement
flutter3d Modeler (application identifier dev.flutter3d.modeler) and the
flutter3d libraries it is built from.
Version 1.0, effective 16 September 2026. Licensor: Dmitrii Zolotov, a natural person acting as an independent developer ("the Licensor", "we"). Contact: [email protected].
By installing, opening or using the Modeller you accept this agreement. If you do not accept it, do not install or use the Modeller.
1. What this agreement is, and what it is not #
The Modeller is free and open-source software. The licence that grants you your
rights in the source code and in the binaries built from it is the MIT
Licence, reproduced in full in section 9 and in the LICENSE file of the
source repository. Nothing in this agreement takes away a right the MIT Licence
grants you.
What this agreement adds is the things the MIT Licence does not speak about and an application distributed through app stores has to: what happens to the documents you make, what the software does with a network connection, what an AI agent connected to the Modeller is able to do, and the terms the app stores require a developer to pass on to you. Where this agreement and the MIT Licence disagree about your rights in the code, the MIT Licence wins.
2. The licence #
Subject to this agreement, the Licensor grants you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense and sell copies of the Modeller, on the terms of the MIT Licence in section 9.
You may install and run the Modeller on as many devices as you like. There is no activation, no licence key, no seat count and no account.
3. What you make with it belongs to you #
The Licensor claims no right of any kind in the models, meshes, materials, textures, animations, projects, exports, screenshots or any other content you create, import or edit with the Modeller. They are yours. Using the Modeller does not grant the Licensor a licence to them, and the Modeller does not transmit them anywhere (see the Privacy Policy).
This includes commercial use: models you build in the Modeller may be sold, shipped in a game, or used in any other way you have the rights for, with no royalty, attribution or notification owed to the Licensor.
4. Your content is your responsibility #
You are responsible for having the rights to what you open, import and export. The Modeller reads files you point it at; it cannot know whether you are allowed to. See the Content Policy for what to do when somebody believes content published through a service we operate infringes their rights.
5. Your data stays on your device #
The Modeller has no accounts, no servers of ours and no telemetry. Your documents, autosaves and settings are stored on the device you are using. The only times the Modeller touches a network are ones you start yourself, and the Privacy Policy lists each one.
Agent access, specifically. The Modeller can expose a local
Model Context Protocol server, started only
when you pass --mcp-port, so that an AI assistant running on your own
machine can read and edit the open document. If you connect an assistant that
sends its input to a third-party model provider, then the content of your
document goes to that provider under their terms, not ours. That is a
decision you make when you connect it, and one worth making deliberately.
6. No warranty #
The Modeller is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The Licensor does not warrant that the Modeller will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will not lose data.
Keep backups of work that matters. The Modeller autosaves and writes an emergency save when it crashes, and neither is a substitute for a backup.
7. Limitation of liability #
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Licensor shall not be liable for any claim, damages or other liability, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, arising from, out of or in connection with the Modeller or its use, including lost profits, lost data and business interruption.
If you are a consumer, nothing in this agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of your country of residence, in particular liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and for gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
8. Age #
The Modeller is a professional tool and is not directed at children. You must be at least 16 years old to accept this agreement on your own behalf, or 13 if the law where you live sets that lower threshold and your parent or guardian accepts it for you. See the "Children" section of the Privacy Policy.
9. The MIT Licence #

copies of the Software, and to permit persons to whom the Software is
furnished to do so, subject to the following conditions:
The above copyright notice and this permission notice shall be included in all

OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE
SOFTWARE.
10. Third-party components #
The Modeller is built on the Flutter SDK and on open-source packages, each under its own licence. The complete list, generated from what is actually linked into the build rather than maintained by hand, is in the Modeller under Help → Legal → Third-party licences. Those licences govern those components; this agreement does not replace them.
The Modeller ships sample models from the Khronos glTF sample set for measurement purposes, under their own terms.
11. Trademarks #
"Flutter" and "Dart" are trademarks of Google LLC. flutter3d and the Modeller are an independent implementation and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC or the Flutter team. No trademark licence is granted by this agreement.
12. Export control and sanctions #
Your use of the Modeller is subject to export control and sanctions law. See the Export Compliance notice for what that means in practice.
13. App store distribution #
Where you obtained the Modeller from Apple's App Store, from Google Play or from another store, that store's own terms apply to the download alongside this agreement, and the store may require terms that override parts of this one.
Apple App Store. If you obtained the Modeller from the App Store:
- This agreement is between you and the Licensor only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Modeller or its content.
- Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the Modeller.
- In the event of any failure of the Modeller to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the Modeller. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Modeller.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the Modeller, including product liability claims, claims that the Modeller fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
- Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement or discharge of any third-party claim that the Modeller infringes that party's intellectual property rights.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce it against you.
14. Changes to this agreement #
We may change this agreement, for a new feature or because the law changed.
The current version always carries a version number and an effective date at
the top, every version is kept in the public source repository under legal/,
and the history of changes is the repository's own commit history. Continuing
to use the Modeller after a change takes effect means you accept the changed
terms; if you do not, stop using it. A copy of the Modeller you already have
keeps working under the terms you accepted, because the MIT Licence in section
9 is irrevocable for the copy you hold.
15. Governing law #
This agreement is governed by the substantive law of the Licensor's country of residence in the European Union, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules and without prejudice to the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, which does not apply.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your own country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
16. Severability and entire agreement #
If any provision of this agreement is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the unenforceable provision is replaced by an enforceable one that comes closest to its intent. This agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, the Cookie and Local Storage Notice, the Content Policy and the Export Compliance notice, is the entire agreement between you and the Licensor about the Modeller.
